Favorite Facebook pages of the month

Facebook is, as we all know, is a global phenomena… and so are the pages created in them. Facebook business pages design has come a long way from being an obscure FBML tabs to one of the highly thoughtout design in social media.

Here are this month’s top Facebook business pages that I think deserves a nod.

Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola – Not surprising considering the branding of Coke products in itself is amazing. I like how their “home” page is dedicated to all the fans you have been “clinking, drinking, and aah-ing” with Coke: Fan highlights, page creators, a Gift of Happiness with a virtual Coke.  I also like how they incorporate their social awareness via Live Positively—Climate Protection, Water Conservation, among others.

If that’s not enough, you can still click on more to enjoy Smileizer, Follow the Bubble and a collection of 125 years of sharing happiness.

GapGap – I really like how Gap branded not only their Facebook pages, but also their Twitter and You Tube pages (see bottom section: Gap’s Digital Network. A separate Flash page also is a sight for sore eyes… and this is only for the “Look Book” tab app.

heinz ketchupHeinz Ketchup – If you love ketchup like I do, then you’ll enjoy the newest breakthrough in ketchup—introducing Heinz Dip & Squeeze! The locator is a treat complete with map,  the sign-up form is hidden until you click “Sign up”, and it even comes with a mobile app game!

Diesel IslandDiesel Island - Welcome to Diesel Island—Land of the Stupid  & Home of the Brave—where every religious holiday is a national holiday.  That sounds promising, or not, as told by a long-haired Chihuahua-toting hippie. What I like about this page is how fun it is to explore the island. They even have live stream for their Black Gold show (although now it’s a rebroadcast)
