The Philippines has gone through several revolutions, however my earliest memory of the modern revolution was 1986. As we celebrate our 25th anniversary this weekend, protests happening in the Middle East hopefully would turn out peaceful and people learn to strive for true freedom.

This has been a sad week for Filipinos everywhere. Former Philippine president Corazon Aquino passed away last Aug.1 after a year-long battle with colon cancer. I heard the news from BBC News during dinner and I was in shock because I have no idea that she was ill.

Recently completed some freelance work for PhotoSensitive about Community Living, Inspiring Possibilies. A photo exhibition recently held at the Allen Lambert Galleria, Brookfield Place Toronto last April 7, 2009. It showcased Community Living's support to people with an intellectual disability as captured by the top photographers in Toronto.
